Henry Slade is so important to that Exeter team.
Dropping 60pts against Toulouse recently is a WTF, because Exeter been great
Yes, its a shame these highlights didn't also show one or two of his conversion kicks as they were top quality.
Toulouse are on another level, Dupont, Ntmack, Ramos, Willis, etc basically an international quality team. England dropped 50 points to France last years Six Nations with a similar teamsheet.
very young squad who got too awed by their opposition and collapsed under the pressure of them once they started scoring.
English prems too full of itself! England not won anything for years. English prem not won European cup for years. It’s just amazing theyve got through this season without losing another team or 2!
@@gprugbyEnglish rugby has spent the past few years worrying about clubs collapsing and the England team performing poorly: I don’t know where you get the idea it’s talked itself up. Can you support your assertion? Mind you, as bad as it has been it’s funny to see the team still went further than France at the RWC who were at home, with its best team ever, with all the momentum. France still no closer to winning, nor are QF specialists Ireland
Bro really did a slide tackle
What a pass by skinner at 3:14 , if Russell had thrown that it would be talked about for weeks.
To be fair, it would have been much easier for him to just pass to Slade and it would have been less risky.
Solid game 😊
Slade has really missed out because of England coaches being unable to build a team that didn't have Farrell in it
They never put him in the best conditions, Slade never got the ball and spent his games chasing kicks and clearing rucks
@@imanton_20 He would have been a success in teams like the ones Greenwood and Guscott played in.
@@dougclark9921 In teams where you are actually planning to pass the ball instead of kicking it
They don't play in the same position. Also, Farrell has been by far England's best fly half and still is and has been one of England's best players ever easily, so not sure why you'd not want him in the team.
@@David-ud9ju I didnt say they played the same position or that Farrell was a bad player. I said, and stand by, that he was hindered by the fact that coaches tried to build a team around Farrell. I am not making a judgment on that choice; just stating a fact. With a different 10 the rest of the backline would be different to complement what the new 10 brought to the game as we are seeing at the moment.
Is very hard to come from behind. I’d like to see all turnovers and not just tries.
